Serbia Ratifies Several International IP Agreements

The Serbian parliament has recently ratified three international agreements on intellectual property.

These agreements are the following:

  1. Geneva Act of the Hague Agreement Concerning the International Registration
    of Industrial Designs adopted on July 2, 1999;
  2. Strasbourg Agreement Concerning the International Patent Classification of
    March 24, 1971, and as amended on September 28, 1979;
  3. Vienna Agreement Establishing an International Classification of the Figurative
    Elements of Marks of June 12, 1973, and as amended on October 1, 1985.

The three laws that ratify these international agreements entered into force in Serbia on June 10, 2009.
