When do we process personal data?

PETOŠEVIĆ will only collect and use personal data when one or more of the following conditions are met:

What personal data we gather?

PETOŠEVIĆ will only gather the following personal data:

To register for an event organised or coordinated by PETOŠEVIĆ, you will be requested to provide your name, title, company data and contact details which will allow us to ensure your participation at the event and that you receive all necessary information.

By registering for an event organised or coordinated by PETOŠEVIĆ you agree that we will share your name, title and company position with other participants of this event.

5. Recruitment

All potential candidates applying for a job with the purpose of entering into an employment contract or service agreement with PETOŠEVIĆ will be requested to provide personal data necessary to evaluate and recruit future employees or contractors. No sensitive personal data will be requested or processed.

The legal basis for processing personal data is consent, according to Article 6(1a) of GDPR. Therefore, before applying for a job at PETOŠEVIĆ, all candidates are required to carefully read the Consent Form for Job Applicants, which outlines the types of personal data which may be collected, the recipients of the personal data and the data retention period.

When submitting CVs and other supporting documents via email, all candidates must include a declaration of consent in the text of their email stating that they have read and understood the Privacy Policy and the Consent Form for Job Applicants, and that they consent to the processing and transfer of their personal data in accordance with the above-mentioned documents. Only applications containing the declaration of consent will be considered. This consent may be revoked at any time, by sending an email to hr@petosevic.com, without affecting the lawfulness of data processing based on the consent given before its withdrawal.

6. Transfer of personal data to third parties and to third countries

PETOŠEVIĆ will only transfer personal information to third parties if that is necessary and to the extent necessary to perform a service contract with the subject of data processing or protect their interests. PETOŠEVIĆ does not sell, distribute or make personal data commercially available to any third party. PETOŠEVIĆ will only share personal data with third parties that are obliged by a service contract to protect and ensure that personal data and confidential data are adequately protected and will fully enforce data protection requirements and confidentiality of information.

When so explicitly consented or when it is necessary for the performance of a recruitment process, a contract or pre-contractual measures or when necessary for the conclusion or performance of a contract concluded in your interest, or when this is necessary for the establishment, exercise or defence of your legal claims, PETOŠEVIĆ will transfer your personal data to the minimum extent necessary to a third country where PETOŠEVIĆ undertakings are situated or where PETOŠEVIĆ conducts its core business. These third countries may not be covered by an adequacy decision or have appropriate safeguards in place that would provide the same level of protection as in the EEA, however PETOŠEVIĆ will exercise contractual obligations of third parties in order to protect any personal data provided.

7. Security

Personal data processed by PETOŠEVIĆ is hosted on a company owned and managed server. All data gathered and processed is protected by a series of safeguards which prevent unauthorised access to our systems. PETOŠEVIĆ databases containing personal data can only be accessed through a security protocol that is based on modern security standards and procedures, which are regularly updated.

8. Your rights

At all times and without any detriment, you have the following rights with regard to the processing of your personal data in accordance with GDPR:

  1. Right of access – you have the right to inquire about the personal data we process and obtain information about such processing as stated in Article 15 of GDPR.

  2. Right to rectification and amendment – if you find out that your personal data processed by us is inaccurate, you have the right to request the rectification or amendment of such data.

  3. Right to erasure – if the terms of Article 17 of GDPR are fulfilled, you have the right to have your personal data erased, especially if the data are no longer necessary for the purposes they were collected or processed, or if the personal data have been unlawfully processed.

  4. Right to data portability – if the processing is based on consent or a contract and is carried out by automated means, you have the right to receive your personal data from us in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format. If technically feasible, we may, upon your request, transmit your personal data to another data controller.

  5. Right to restriction of processing – under Article 18 of GDPR, you have the right to ask the controller to restrict the processing of your data, especially if you contest the accuracy of the personal data (in which case we will temporarily restrict the processing during the period of data accuracy verification) or if you raise an objection (in which case we will restrict the processing until it is verified whether our legitimate grounds override those of you as the data subject).
