Romanian Customs Seize EUR 800,000 Worth of Fake Perfume, Cosmetics, Apparel

On June 26, 2019, Romanian customs officials seized 94,525 bottles of perfume, as well as cosmetic products and clothing items believed to infringe numerous trademarks, including Bvlgari®, Calvin Klein®, Adidas®, Puma®, Nike®, Amani®, D&G®, Prada®, Ray Ban®, Chanel®, Lacoste®, Diesel®, Tom Ford®, and Yves Saint Laurent®.

The goods were discovered during raids of warehouses belonging to a commercial center in the capital of Bucharest and are estimated to be worth approximately EUR 800,000 (USD 897,000).
