Hungarian Customs Seize EUR 200,000 Worth of Fake Apparel

The Hungarian National Tax and Customs Administration (NTCA) officials near the town of Gyula in southeastern Hungary recently seized more than 3,000 apparel items believed to infringe the Adidas®, Tommy Hilfiger®, Armani®, Louis Vuitton®, D&G®, Gucci®, Ralph Lauren®, Hugo Boss®, Calvin Klein® and Nike® trademarks.

The goods, estimated to be worth approximately EUR 200,000 (USD 232,400) were discovered during the inspection of a truck transporting apparel from Turkey to Hungary.
