Bulgarian Customs Seize Counterfeit Apparel

The Bulgarian customs officials at the Kapitan Andreevo checkpoint on the Bulgarian-Turkish border have recently seized more than 11,000 counterfeit clothing items bearing well-known brand names.

The seized goods include 9,160 men’s and children’s socks, 506 tracksuits, 158 jackets, 712 blouses, 268 sweatshirts, 199 sweaters, 290 shirts and 47 men’s coats bearing the marks of Armani, Puma, Lacoste, Nike, Replay, Adidas, Polo, Versace, Hello Kitty and Hugo Boss.

The goods were found in a truck with Turkish license plates traveling from Turkey to Montenegro.
