Serbian Customs Seize Fake Jeans

Feb 9 2014 - 20:53

On January 9, the Serbian customs officials discovered and seized counterfeit textile goods in a van travelling from the city of Nis, southern Serbia, to the capital of Belgrade.

The fake goods, consisting mostly of men’s jeans (740 pairs), were discovered in the van at a toll booth on the highway.

The driver stated that he was transporting second-hand clothes to the city of Novi Sad, northern Serbia, but the customs officials determined that the goods were new. The goods bore the marks of Hugo Boss, Levi Strauss, Armani Jeans, D&G, Lacoste, Puma, Prada, Versace and Tommy Hilfiger.
