Serbian Customs Seize Fake Apparel, Perfumes, Fabric

In the time period July 26 – August 12, 2018, Serbian Customs officials seized thousands of apparel items, as well as perfumes and 121 rolls of fabric believed to be counterfeit.

The goods are believed to infringe numerous trademarks, including Zara®, Philipp Plein®, Louis Vuitton®, Michael Kors®, Armani®, Gucci®, Hugo Boss®, Calvin Klein®, Chanel®, Levi’s®, Puma®, Reebok®, Nike®, Adidas®, Kappa®, Hello Kitty®, Spiderman®, Mickey Mouse®, Minnie Mouse®, Frozen®, Sponge Bob®, PAW Patrol®, and Cars®.

The goods were seized on seven different occasions at the Gradina border crossing point with Bulgaria, in the northern town of Subotica and on a highway checkpoint in southern Serbia.
