Romania's Anti-Piracy Campaign Results in 313 Criminal Cases

The Romanian police authorities have recently announced the results of last year’s anti-piracy campaign aimed to discover and confiscate illegal software.

As a result of 691 raids that took place throughout Romania, 313 criminal cases have been opened against 351 people and 3,000 information systems, pieces of equipment and program storage systems have been confiscated.

The Business Software Alliance (BSA) assisted the authorities with the campaign.
