Serbian Customs Seize Fake Apparel, Perfume, Labels

In the time period November 17 – December 27, 2018, Serbian Customs officials seized thousands of accessories, apparel and footwear items, as well as hundreds of perfumes and nearly 2,000 textile and paper labels believed to be counterfeit.

The goods are believed to infringe numerous trademarks, including Tommy Hilfiger®, Dior®, Giorgio Armani®, Yves Saint Laurent®, Versace®, Jean Paul Gaultier®, Thierry Mugler®, Dolce & Gabbana®, Chanel®, Paco Rabanne®, Nike®, Adidas®, Gucci®, Philipp Plein®, Hugo Boss®, Ugg®, Minnie Mouse®, Levi’s®, Moncler®, Burberry®, Louis Vuitton®, Valentino®, Ralph Lauren® and Puma®.

The goods were seized on seven different occasions at the Gradina border crossing point with Bulgaria, on State Road 22 in southern Serbia and in the capital of Belgrade.
