The Night of Gypsy Music at the AIPPI Conference in Geneva, Switzerland

On June 22nd, join us for a taste and sound of the ‘real’ Eastern Europe.

Following our successful concert of traditional gypsy music at the INTA 2003 meeting in Amesterdam and much interest that it sparked, we are happy to announce our second event. On Tuesday, June 22nd, during the AIPPI conference in Geneva, Switzerland, SD PETOSEVIC will once again host a night of traditional gypsy music from various East European countries.

This event will give you a taste and sound of the “real” Eastern Europe. The musicians are “imported” especially for the occasion. The gypsy songs from the traditions of Russia, Romania, Hungary, Bulgaria, Serbia, Poland, Moldova, Azerbaijan and Macedonia, amongst others, and the inevitable vodka, will invite sing alongs, entice dancing and generally set the pace of a typical East European evening.
