We are looking for an Intellectual Property Associate to join our office in Romania

Responsibilities: 

• Analyzing and advising clients on IP protection and filing strategies
• Representing clients before public administrations and courts of law
• Preparing applications, handling prosecution and following-up on the registration procedure for all types of IP rights, meeting strict deadlines
• Handling oppositions, cancellation, revocation actions, or other contentious actions before the national Patent and Trademark Office, the EU IPO and the national courts of law
• Handling administrative tasks, including docketing cases, reporting, and invoicing clients for the work performed on their behalf
• Responding to questionnaires and producing legal opinions for various IP forums and organizations
• Attending and representing the Company in various conferences, seminars and other forums

Requirements: 

• University degree from Law School
• Capacity to represent IP right holders before the local administrations and courts
• Professional command of the English language (both written and verbal)
• Minimum 5 years of experience as an Associate in the Intellectual Property field
• Detail oriented
• High sense of responsibility
• Ability to work independently and manage various projects
• Good time management skills and ability to prioritize and utilize resources as available
• Strong computer skills, not limited to Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
