Taras has over 12 years of experience spanning various areas of intellectual property law and practice in both the EU and the former USSR countries. He is experienced in drafting franchise and license agreements and handles prosecution and enforcement of trademarks and industrial designs before the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO).

During his career, Taras has been an active member of several INTA committees, has represented PETOŠEVIĆ at the INTA Annual meetings and has published numerous articles on intellectual property topics concerning both the EU and the former Soviet region.

Prior to joining the firm in 2009, Taras worked for three years in a firm in Kiev, Ukraine, where his practice focused on registration of trademarks, drafting license and franchise agreements, and enforcement of intellectual property rights. In 2009, he also earned his LLM in intellectual property from the Queen Mary University of London.
