Petia’s practice focuses mostly on contentious and non-contentious trademark matters. She represents clients before the Bulgarian PTO, EUIPO and the local enforcement authorities in patent, industrial design, domain name and customs matters. As an experienced trademark attorney, Petia advises clients on all aspects of IP protection. She handles opposition and appeal proceedings, works closely on trademark clearances and infringement investigations.

During her career at PETOŠEVIĆ, Petia has advised and represented multinational companies from various industries in trademark opposition, cancellation and revocation cases, as well as cases involving the determination of well-known status. She has also negotiated a co-existence agreement on behalf of a well-known television network with one of the biggest Bulgarian telecommunication companies.

Prior to joining PETOŠEVIĆ in 2010, she worked for four years at one of the biggest intellectual property law firms in Bulgaria handling mostly patent, design and customs matters.
