Amir Sám Nakhjavani

As an intellectual property and media and entertainment lawyer, Amir manages the entire range of contentious and non-contentious work for our clients operating in Azerbaijan. He advises clients on all aspects of IP rights protection in Azerbaijan and offers particularly strong knowledge and experience with copyright matters.

Prior to joining PETOŠEVIĆ in 2023, Amir ran a practice consulting clients in media and entertainment matters in Canada, specifically in the video games and film and television industries, as well as in live performance. He also served on the council of the Alliance of Canadian Cinema, Television and Radio Artists (ACTRA), the largest performers’ union in Canada.
