PETOŠEVIĆ is part of a consortium involved in implementing the EU-funded project, whose main objective is to improve the capacity of the Institute for Intellectual Property of Bosnia and Herzegovina by establishing and running centers for information and education at the lnstitute’s head office in Mostar and in the branch offices in Sarajevo and Banja Luka.

These centers aim to assist in the overall development of the national IP system and in raising public awareness and understanding of IP and its significance. The training programs offered by the centers address the needs of all the key players in IP protection in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

PETOŠEVIĆ CEO Slobodan Petosevic and PETOŠEVIĆ Bosnia Director Tarik Prolaz have been selected as short-term senior and junior experts, respectively, responsible for holding several of these training events. During the last week of February, Slobodan Petosevic lectured on the importance of IP at three awareness-raising workshops. Three more workshops are to be organized in September and October this year.

Starting date of the project (EuropeAid/134241/C/SER/BA) was October 3, 2014 and the estimated duration is 15 months.
