Slobodan Petošević Elected Serbian Representative to EPI Council
Following the proposal of the Serbian IPO, PETOŠEVIĆ CEO Slobodan Petošević has been appointed as a Serbian representative to the Council of the Institute of Professional Representatives before the European Patent Office, also called the European Patent Institute (EPI).
The EPI represents registered European Patent Attorneys and currently has 10,000 members. The EPI’s governing body is the Council, which is elected once every three years and which comprises registered European Patent Attorneys from all the European Patent Convention contracting states. All members of the Council work voluntarily for the Council.
Slobodan Petošević is one of only two Council representatives from Serbia. He plans on attending the next Council meeting, which will take place in Darmstadt, Germany, on November 5, 2011.
