Launch of Our New Corporate Identity
Dear colleagues and friends,
We are excited to launch our new corporate identity!
We have dropped SD from our name (SD PETOSEVIC) and are now calling our group of Eastern European offices simply PETOŠEVIĆ (Pe-toh-she-vich).
We did this because we noticed that many of you already tend to call us PETOŠEVIĆ. Somehow SD would get dropped in translation. Or was unnecessary to pronounce. We also like to follow the trend of simplicity and see the change in our name as a progressive move that establishes clarity and increases the speed of our communication with you.
You will notice that we also added local accents to our name! Accents add distinctiveness to our logo and simply make sense. They reflect our roots and cannot be a better indicator of our local identity. As big international firms move into the region, we as a local firm want to accent our uniqueness and distinguish ourselves from the bunch.
We also introduced a new slogan – EMBRACING CHANGE. Our business, as we see it today, was born 18 years ago when old Eastern Europe started to fall apart. That was the change that started it all. Unlike many other businesses, we were ready to embrace the change and abandon the old ways of doing IP business. Some years ago, when Eastern Europe started to stabilize, we began to expand by opening offices across Eastern Europe. This was another major change. An ambitious task for a region where opening a business requires jumping through hoops, regularly. Many watched us in disbelief. Some went as far as to label us “crazy.” This was the change that took us to the next level. Changes in technology, world economy or simply in circumstances, ask us to continue to change and remain flexible. We have been doing just that and credit our ability to embrace the change for still being around.
We have implemented our new logo and slogan across platform and you will soon be seeing it in our electronic signatures, letters and marketing materials. Of course, our new identity is also reflected on the refreshed version of our home page. You will see that we have changed our website font, and made it bigger too, in order to make it easier for you to read our content. Many more good things are in the works!
With our new identity we want to reflect the changing face of Eastern Europe and to offer a sense of future stability from which corporations and individuals will flourish in Eastern Europe. We hope we will achieve just that and invite you to give us your feedback at news@petosevic.com.
Warm regards,
Slobodan Petošević
Chief Executive Officer
