Tarik Prolaz Presents at Customs IP Protection Seminar in Bosnia
On December 17, 2014, PETOŠEVIĆ Bosnia Director Tarik Prolaz held a presentation entitled “Benefits of IP Enforcement for Companies” at a seminar organized as part of the ongoing Instrument for Pre-accession Assistance (IPA) 2011 EU Twinning Project.
The seminar was held in the capital city of Sarajevo at the premises of the Foreign Trade Chamber of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The Institute for Education of the Chamber (ECOS) was one of the co-organizers.
Approximately 50 attendees, including representatives of local companies (members of the Chamber), local customs and law enforcement officials, as well as legal practitioners were present at the event.
The aim of the seminar was to provide basic insight into the customs protection of intellectual property rights in the EU and in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The lecturers included Bosnian, Slovenian, Austrian and Croatian customs representatives as well as the Foreign Trade Chamber representatives.
